Before You Start:

1. Install USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy R on your computer.(Link given below)

2. Enable USB Debugging Mode on the device by navigating to Settings >> Developer Options.

3. Make a backup of all your important data before following the guide.

4. Confirm model of the device.

5. Ensure the battery of the device is charged more than 80 percent.


Necessary Downloads:

1. Odin: Download Here.

2. Samsung Drivers: Download Here.

3. Select the firmware for your region from HERE.

Procedure To Flash Stock Firmware On Samsung Galaxy R:

1.  Power off your device.
2.  Press and hold the Volume Down + Home + Power buttons until your device enters Download Mode.
3.  Extract firmware (downloaded from above link) to a folder on your desktop.  You should end up with two files.
 4.  Extract the odin  file you downloaded above to a folder on your desktop.
5.  From the extracted folder, double-click on Odin.exe to run the tool.
6.  Click on PDA button, locate 'firmware'.tar.md5 and click on OK to load it on Odin.
7.  Connect your device to your PC using the usb cable. Odin should now recognize your device and light up the ID:COM field yellow to signify this.  If not, reinstall the drivers and try again.
8.  Make sure that the Re-Partition and Flash Lock are unchecked; this is important as you might brick your device if these options are ticked!
9.  Click on Start.
10. Once passed, you have successfully flashed your galaxy r.
Fixing Bootlap:
In case your device does not boot automatically press Power+Home+Volume Up buttons together and wipe cache & factory reset using volume keys to navigate and home key to select. Reboot your device now.
