5: Boot the Galaxy Grand DUOS into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Power and Home buttons together. Release all three buttons when the GT-I9082 logo appears on the screen. Then press Volume Up button to confirm to enter into Download Mode.

6: Connect the phone to the computer using USB cable while it is in Download Mode. Wait until Odin detects the device. When it is connected successfully, an Added message will appear under Odin's message box. And the ID: COM box in Odin will turn blue with COM port number indicating successful connection.

7: If there is a pop-up like Installing ADB drivers, do not interrupt. Let it get finished

8: In Odin click the PDA button and select CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.md5 file

9: Verify that Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkbox are selected in Odin window. And uncheck the Re-Partition option.

10: Hit Start button in Odin.

11: When the installation process is completes, the phone will reboot automatically.

Procedure To Root Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos:

1: Download SuperSU root package for Galaxy Grand DUOS.

2: Copy the downloaded root file to the external SD card of the phone [Not to internal SD card]

3: Turn off the phone and boot the phone into CWM recovery by pressing and holding Volume Up, Power and Home buttons together.In recovery mode use Volume keys to scroll between options and Power button to select the desired option.

4: In recovery mode, select 'install zip from sd card' then select 'choose zip from sdcard'. Now browse to the SuperSU root package which was earlier copied to the SD card of the phone. Select it using Power button and confirm installation by selecting Yes on the next screen

Step-5: When the installation process is completed, return to the recovery menu and reboot the phone by selecting reboot system now.

5.Check that Odin has recognized your device. and the ID:COM port will either turn blue or yellow and you should also see an Added!! in the message section.

6. Also chek that the ‘Auto Reboot‘ and ‘F. Rest Time‘ and rest leave the default Odin settings.

7.Click on the PDA button and browse the Firmware update file.(if available)

8. Similar to that select Phone (modem) ,CSC and pit files if availabe.

9.After selecting the correct file (tar.md5) then hit START button and wait.

10. Finally you need to wait for Odin to completely flash the update file. As it completes, Odin will notify you via the PASS!! Message and your device should automatically reboot.

11. If it does not reboot automatically reboot then go to recovery (vol. up+power+home)  mode and clear cache and wipe data.
