How To Root and Install CWM Recovery on Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300

So you have galaxy pocket smartphone and want to root it and take all the control over it then you have reached the right place.I will guide you for rooting your galaxy pocket device which is best low cost phone by samsung but has less system requirements,so rooting is best way to make it better,faster and smoother.

Before You Start:

1. Enable USB Debugging Mode on the device by navigating to Settings >> Developer Options.

2. Make a backup of all your important data before following the guide.(Optional).

3. Ensure the battery of the device is charged more than 80 percent.

4. Make sure your device model is galaxy pocket GT-S5300

Necessary Downloads:

Update.zip file : Download Here

Procedure To Root And Installing CWM On Galaxy Pocket:

Step 1 – Download The Update.zip and keep it on your sd card,don't put it in any folder.

Step 2 – Now Turn Off your device.

Step 3 – Boot Into recovery Mode by Pressing Home, Volume Up and Power Button together until you see something.

Step 4 – Your device should be in Recovery mode now. From the Menu Go to “Update from SD card” by volume down and up button and select using home button.

Step 5 – Next choose the copied Update.zip file from SD card.

Step 6 – Reboot using the reboot option in Recovery options menu.

Step 7 – Now download ROM manager app from Google play-store.

Step 8 – Open ROM Manager App.

Step 9 – Now tap on “Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery”. This will install ClockworkMod Recovery on your phone.

Step 10- Select your phone model from list and it will download the ROM. Then Reboot your phone.

So you have successfully rooted your galaxy pocket.Check it by downloading root checker app through play store.

    2. I have got the rom manager app and i tried to instal a cwm recovery via the app but it says that my device is not supported.
