Root Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560 (Easiest Method)

07:16

The Samsung Galaxy Trend, GT-S7560 device from Samsung has got a 4-inch touchscreen, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and a 1GHz processor. Although there is a neat TouchWiz UI included in the device, one would like to have more than that and install some custom User interfaces and ROMs to make the device look better and do much more than what is actually provided by the company.
All this is possible only if the Galaxy Trend Duos II is rooted. And to root the Samsung Galaxy Trend, one of the easiest and best ways possible is by using the One Click Root method where the tool would do most of the job when you have everything ready, and if you have installed the drivers of the device on your computer.

Before You Begin:

  1. Make sure that the phone has fully charged (50% minimum) so that it doesn’t get turned off in between the process.
  2. Enable USB debugging by going to “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” and enable it. If you don’t see “Developer options” option then you need to enable it by going to “Settings>About device> Build number” and tap on Build number 7 times until you will see a message “You are now a developer”.
  3. Back up all your important data and files.
  4. Make sure the phone model is Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560 by going to “System settings>About device”.

Method 1:

  1. Download 1ClickRoot tool from this link and extract the archive on your computer.
  2. Connect the mobile phone to the computer using the original USB cable. Ensue that USB Debugging mode is enabled.
  3. Now start the 1ClickRoot.exe and click on the “Root” button.
  4. The rooting process will start, the phone will reboot once it is complete.
Method 2:

  1. Download Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560 rooting tool from this link.
  2. Extract the zip file and you will get Odin, CWM recovery and CWM-Superuser-3.1.3.
  3. First flash the CWM recovery using Odin.
  4. After that reboot the phone and enter recovery mode and flash CWM-Superuser-3.1.3 file.
  5. Visit here for Flashing guide through odin.
