How To Root And Unroot Micromax Canvas Viva A72 (Easiest Method)

The Micromax Canvas Viva, A72 device from Micromax  Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and a 1GHz processor. Although there is a neat TouchWiz UI included in the device, one would like to have more than that and install some custom User interfaces and ROMs to make the device look better and do much more than what is actually provided by the company.

Before You Start:

1. Make Sure that Your Micromax A72 Canvas Viva is 70% Charged at least.

2. Make a Backup of all Your Important Apps or Files Using Android Assistant.

3. Disable all Background Applications Including Antivirus or Firewall.

4. Install micromax drivers.(Link given below).

1) Download the Piranhabox software from above link.

2) Double click it to install it on your PC.

3) After installing open the software, you will get an Silver coloured window.

4) Now Turn on USB debugging on your Micromax  canvas viva by going to setting>application>development>Usb Debugging.

5) Connect your Micromax A72 Canvas Viva with your PC using USB cable.

6) Click the MTK tab from left side.

7) Tick the Onekey Root and Scan USB option from piranhabox, check above pic for reference.

8) Click the START button at the end of piranhabox, and it will start rooting micromax canvas viva a72.

9) At the end of Piranhabox there is a blue progress Bar. Remove the USB cable from PC after it became 100%.

1. Just open the SuperSU>Settings>Full Unroot.
